My work captures how human emotions behave like nature; fluid, intertwined, layered, and in constant state of transmutation.  Transmutation the active state of change from one form into another, informs my unique art practice.

I began my professional career  as an Analyst but I pivoted to find my artistic voice while exploring the theme of transgenerational inheritance. It is the concept that our bodies carry the trauma sustained by past generation and also the medicines to heal. My personal experiences as a Mexican daughter growing up in a multigenerational home form the roots of my blended rasquache  methods and art practice.
